A statement from Glenn Winter, Senior Partner, about Winter Scott’s response to COVID-19

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads across the world, including the United Kingdom, our thoughts lie with those affected and its impact on you, our clients, and on our own people.

Dear Clients and Friends,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads across the world, including the United Kingdom, our thoughts lie with those affected and its impact on you, our clients, and on our own people.

Winter Scott is taking the situation extremely seriously has put in place measures to contain the spread of the virus as recommended by the UK Government. That is by doing our best to safeguard the safety and wellbeing of our employees whilst servicing our clients’ needs and continuing as business as usual, to the highest standards possible in the circumstances.

Our office is closed, although business continues as usual:

  • our staff are working remotely until further notice;
  • international and domestic travel by our employees is restricted; and
  • a COVID-19 contingency team is continuing to monitor the situation and adapt our response as necessary.

Notwithstanding that our office is closed and staff are working remotely, we would like to reassure all clients and colleagues that we are well set up to operate remotely and will continue to deliver a high standard of service.

All our partners and solicitors remain available to you at all times.

Please take care, as we all face these difficult times, but with the hope that with determined effort these problems will eventually be overcome.

Kind regards,
Glenn Winter, Senior Partner
